Silly Log

What I spent my weekend making... a totally ridiculously happy log!

I cut a slice out of the log, made a silicon mold, and cast it in resin:

Under the sea inside the log!

I made these out of wood dowels and wood beads, then they were cast in bronze:

I painted the tips of the mushrooms and flowers to give a hint of the ocean inside:

ANd my ampersand sold today! I will miss it, but sometime next week I'm going lazer crazy happy and will make another. When my final projects are done, of course.
